Tribes of Midgard, the hit survival action game from Norsfell and Gearbox Publishing, is today revealing Season 3: Inferno Saga which is set to launch on PC and PlayStation platforms on August 16. Additionally, the game and its latest update will be coming to Xbox and Nintendo Switch platforms on the same date. Head below to see the reveal trailer alongside everything new you can expect with the newest season.

Going Infernal With the Latest Saga

Tribes of Midgard Season 3: Inferno Saga turns the heat to 11 compared to Serpent Saga back in December, as the team at Norsfell brings players to the evil Volcanic Spire. Across Midgard is a set of invading outposts that, once raided, grant Muspelite which can be used to activate a new gateway and open the way to the latest biome. Filled with all sorts of infernal dangers, you’ll need to be sure you’re well equipped with heat-resistant, powerful gear if you are to survive. After cutting down hordes of infernal adversaries and climbing the tower, you’ll also take on the newest boss who looks to be the largest seen in the game thus far. Are you up for the challenge?

Beyond new and exciting content though, alongside a new season pass of goodies to earn, Tribes of Midgard Season 3: Inferno Saga reconstructs Survival and Crafting (in Survival specifically) to be more relaxed but equally engaging to its current state. With the constant threat of Jotnar attacks looming and plenty of new tweaks to explore, alongside the new Allforge to help you craft anything you may need, those seeking challenge are sure to be nicely accommodated. If that all wasn’t enough, the newest weapon type of Spear alongside Fishing for new resources is sure to top things off nicely.

Julian Maroda, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Norsfell, had the following to say:

For those interested that don’t already own the game, Tribes of Midgard is currently available on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) and PlayStation for $19.99, with Xbox and Nintendo Switch versions to be at the same price. You could also pick up the upcoming Deluxe Edition, which is set to bring exclusive items, for $29.99 on all listed platforms.
