Trevor Noah may have just stepped down from The Daily Show, but the comedian is set to host the Grammys. This will be Trevor Noah’s third year in a row hosting the Grammys. This year, the ceremony will take place in Los Angeles instead of Los Vegas. The Grammys changed locations for last year’s broadcast due to COVID-19 restrictions. The Grammys on CBS will air on February 5th.
Finding a great host for iconic awards shows like the Grammys is no easy feat. Luckily, the internet agrees that Trevor Noah is the perfect host. The comedian has a friendly banter with the attendees, he’s naturally funny, and most of all, Trevor Noah knows how to be entertaining to a wide variety of viewers.
Though the list of performers for the Grammys on CBS has not been revealed, the nominations came out recently. Beyonce has the most Grammy nominations, with nine. Kendrick Lemar has the second most with eight. Other notable Grammy nominations come from Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, and Adele.
We’re excited to see Trevor Noah host the Grammys for the third year.
Who We Want To Perform At The Grammys On CBS
The Grammy ceremony is music’s biggest night. We’re happy Trevor Noah will host the Grammys, but we have some hopes for performers. As such, music fans look forward to the various performances from artists of all genres. First and foremost, we want to see Taylor Swift perform at the Grammys. She’s had such a massive year with her Midnights album, and we think she could put on an incredible show with this new material. Beyonce is this year’s most nominated, so it’s decently likely we’ll see the Renaissance singer perform at the Grammys on CBS. Harry Styles is always a fan favorite, so he’d be an excellent choice to perform. Also, Sam Smith has an album coming out early next year, so it’d be perfect if they performed.
There should be more Grammy news breaking in the coming weeks, but we’re glad they confirmed Trevor Noah would be hosting.
