Bit Loom Games, the studio behind the hit co-op game Phogs, has today unveiled its next game Tray Racers, an online multiplayer racing game set to release on PC and Nintendo Switch in 2023! The game was announced during today’s Future Games Show which you can find the trailer for below.
Racing Through a Desert Landscape
Unexpectedly, Tray Racers begins in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by an unknown force. That hasn’t stopped the survivors who remain from having fun through it all though. Armed with their trusty trays of choice, and nothing but wits and quick thinking to get them through, you and up to 15 other racers will fly down sandy slopes, across small rivers, and soar through the air in an effort to score first place and become the ultimate Tray Racer. Best of all, anyone can join up with you in this racing adventure, as the game will be free to play on both platforms! What more could you ask for from a game like this?
For more information regarding the game itself, have a quick look at this blurb from the official Steam page:
Considering one of my favorites from the previous show today, the Wholesome Direct, was environmentally friendly Terra Nil, I’m all for more games about being better at protecting nature. That, and I sure won’t complain about free.
I’d love to hear your thoughts in the meantime though. Will you be playing the Phogs developer’s Tray Racers on PC or Nintendo Switch next year? What is your favorite arcade racer similar to this? Let me know!
