Tower of Fantasy is filled with various items, most of which can be upgraded, enhanced, and augment weapons to higher levels. Matrices are one of these items that you can use to increase the strength of your weapon. The higher the level of the matrix, the higher the strength it adds to your weapon, so here is how to upgrade a Matrix to level 5 in Tower of Fantasy.
How to Upgrade a Matrix to Level 5 in Tower of Fantasy
Weapons have four slots you can use to insert Matrix Chips in them. These four slots are Mind, Memory, Belief, and Emotion. Once you install a Matrix Chip in these slots, the damage and overall strength of your weapon will be increased. Matrices can be upgraded as well and the max level is 5.
To use Matrices on weapons, you must have reached Level 20. Then you can acquire Matrix Chips by completing Bounty Missions, upgrading Suppressors, and other activities you can complete in Tower of Fantasy. Once you got a Matrix you can see it has its own HP and Crit.
You can develop Matrix’s HP and Crit with Matrix Data Packs. To upgrade Matrix’s levels, you will need several Matrix Data Packs. You can get some Data Packs by doing Dimensional Trails, Omnium Beacons, Cracking Password Chest II, Bounty Missions, Mia’s Kitchen, and the Points Store.

You can also increase the level of Matrix if you have duplicate Matrix Chips. It is best to save up Matrix Data Packs and use them once to upgrade a Matrix Level to 5. Once you have maxed the level of a Matrix, you can equip it on the weapon you want by clicking on the Affix option and placing the Matrix in the proper slot. In case you have found better weapons, you can remove Matrices and put them in another weapon as well.
