Tower of Fantasy is a new, fun game that’s taking the gaming industry by storm. One of its many features — although not unique — is the chance to augment weapons with various materials. One of these is the Heart of Winter, a rare ore with elemental ice power. You can use this ore and other ice ores to add power to your weapon and increase its potency against bosses. In this guide, we will show you how to get the Heart of Winter in Tower of Fantasy, plus how to upgrade any weapon in the game.
Tower of Fantasy: How to get Heart of Winter
You can get the Heart of Winter by either collecting elemental ores or fusing five ice cores. The ice cores can be purchased at the Weapon store for two Black Gold. Weapons that can be upgraded using ice cores, and the Heart of Winter include Absolute Zero, Balmung, Rosy Edge, and Ice Arrow. These weapons will be available to you as you explore the map.
After obtaining the Heart of Winter, the next step is upgrading your chosen weapon. To do this, navigate to the Weapons Menu on the top-right of the screen. While here, pick the weapon you want to upgrade. An Upgrade option will appear in the lower left, together with the upgrade materials, which will be arranged on the left side of the screen. You can either select all or choose individual ores to augment your weapon. You will also be prompted to pay a small fee in Black Gold for the weapon upgrade. With this process, you can upgrade as many weapons as you want. That is, as long as you have enough resources to do so.
However, all weapons have an upgrade cap, but there are ways around these which you will learn as you explore the game further.
