Accordingly, equipping gear is something that Wanderers should do as soon as the option becomes available. The first time most players likely receive their first Equipment is when they initially clear a Joint Operation. While donning Equipment is important, knowing how to Enhance and Advance said gear will further improve one’s performance in Tower of Fantasy combat.
Enhancing and Advancing Equipment In Tower Of Fantasy
First, it is vital to distinguish what “Enhancing” and “Advancing” Equipment mean in Tower of Fantasy. Enhancement is identical to upgrading or leveling, raising a gear piece’s stats to a higher capacity. Conversely, Advancement is using Crystals or excess gear to boost an Equipment’s randomized bonus stat.

Crystals are acquired from Crystal nodes found in abundance across Aesperia. Yet, they do not always drop resources, making the procurement process somewhat RNG-based. Moreover, bear in that while the Enhancement progress of an Equipment piece can be passed onto a new, better piece of gear, the Advancement stats are unique to a single piece of armor in Tower of Fantasy.
