Tori And Candy’s Relationship Was Rocky
Tori and Candy Spelling always had a complicated relationship, but the duo finally fell out in 2006. The tricky dynamic was exposed following Aaron Spelling, Tori’s dad’s death.
Candy blamed Tori for her husband’s death, saying that her decision to elope with Dean McDermott caused Aaron’s early demise.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 star cut off her family when she left with Dean. At the time, she and Dean were married to their respective partners, which broke Aaron and Candy’s hearts. Aaron died a year after the incident.

The Mom-Daughter Duo’s Budding Relationship
In a recent development, Tori says her relationship with her mother is getting better and is next level presently.
The mother of five credited the budding relationship to a mutual friend, Josh Flagg. Tori and Candy last met before COVID, so the Million Dollar Listing alum arranged for dinner at Candy’s place. The Mistle-Tones actress revealed that she had a great time there and that the family has been together since then.
The TV personality also disclosed that she and Candy text each other regularly. She also shared that she and her mom recently took a mother-daughter trip to New York, where they bonded well.
Tori is not quiet about her newfound relationship with her family. She posted a picture she took with her mom and brother Randy at an outing in September. The Tricky star captioned the Instagram post:
