ARPG Torchlight 3 is leaving Early Access in October and will release for Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on the 13th. Better yet, the third game in the series will also be releasing on the Nintendo Switch later in 2020. Perfect World Entertainment and Echtra Games announced that anyone who owns the Early Access version will be granted access to the full version. In addition, all versions of the game will include an exclusive Fairy pet for each platform.
Max Schaefer, CEO of Echtra Games and co-founder of the Torchlight franchise, had this to say:
Torchlight 3 will include four hero classes and five relics each with its own ability and strength.
Torchlight 3 Classes
- Dusk Mages are powerful magic practitioners that use light and dark energy to attack.
- The Forged are robots who have an arsenal of weaponry to unload on enemies.
- Railmasters are a locomotive based class who rely on large hammers and literally use heavily armed trains to fight.
- Sharpshooters, as the name suggests, are quick ranged characters who use ranged weapons and magical trinkets to take on enemies from afar.
Torchlight 3 is a fast-paced dungeon crawler where players can team up with friends to fight goblins, undead, and other creatures. The story takes place one century after the events of Torchlight 2.
