The English dub of Dragon Ball Super from Toonami Asia is still arriving. It’s coming out to Asian countries in January and a small clip has been released.

Many people, including Toonami Asia, thought the English dub would be ready back in July or August. Now it has been revealed that this version of Dragon Ball Super will air on Saturday, January 21, 2017.

They also posted: “But Goku fans around Asia who can’t wait that long can also get a sneak peek on Saturday, December 17 at 10:35am, to watch the full first episode – only on Toonami Asia.”

It’s worth mentioning this English dub is different to the one that Funimation is also working on. Funimation is the dub that most people in North America will be familiar with. We don’t know when the North American dub will be airing yet.

This short clip takes a look at Buu and Hercule. After watching the Japanese version since July 2015, it takes a while to adjust to the the new voices. It’s cool to see that the series is finally going to get English dubs though. Fans were left in the dark for over a year until earlier this year.
