A Tony Hawk sports documentary named Tony Hawk: Until The Wheels Fall Off has been picked up by HBO and will be featured on their tried and true cable channel in 2022, and it will eventually make its way to their streaming service, HBO Max. The documentary based on the life and times of the living embodiment of skateboarding comes to us by way of the Duplass brothers, Mark and Jay Duplass with Sam Jones directing. Jones has recently directed one episode for Showtime’s Roadies and one for Ted Lasso.
According to Deadline, some of the interviews that will be in the sports documentary include greats like Neil Blender, Steve Caballero, Andy MacDonald, Rodney Mullen, and Stacy Peralta as they talk about the impact the birdman has had on their sport.

Both Duplass brothers executive produced the Tony Hawk sports documentary through their production company, Duplass Brothers Productions, and are currently working with Jones on another documentary, Running With Our Eyes Closed, based on the life of four-time Grammy winner Jason Isbell.
