Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater is a name anyone from my generation should be familiar with. During its initial release, it was widely popular among both children and adults. As were many games of the same era. Many fans had asked questions of a remaster in times past.

As Tony Hawk himself puts it, “For years fans have asked me about bringing the games back, and I’m proud to say that we finally have a game that delivers on the expectations that nostalgic fans want.”

The remaster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 should certainly please fans. And while longtime fans are expected to return, Hawk and the developers are hoping to draw in new players as well. A remaster of beloved classics wasn’t the only thing fans can look forward to.

Players can look forward to more than just a remaster of the beloved game. To promote the re-release of the skateboarding series’ first installments, the classic warehouse was re-created in real life.

Activision rebuilt the entire warehouse, down to the last rail. Check out Tony Hawk grinding the rails is this faithful real-life version of the classic location.

Not only will players be able to revisit their favorite locations, but they will also be able to create their own. Back from the past is Create-a-Park and Create-a-Skater mode. These modes will come with customizations that were not possible with the original installments. Along with 4k graphic capability, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 comes with brand new music.

The game will come in three distinct versions available worldwide. Firstly, the Standard Edition, containing the base game, has a price tag of $39.99 USD. The Digital Deluxe version, boasting unique content, is available at the price of $49.99.

For those who may want the bragging rights, a Collector’s Edition is for the price of $99.99. This version will come with everything included in the Deluxe edition, and a limited-run Birdhouse deck. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 is available for Playstation 4, PS4 Pro, the Xbox One console family including series X, and for the PC through the Epic Games store.
