Ubisoft has revealed the PC specifications required to play its upcoming military shooter Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

As predicted when the game’s PC exclusive features were unveiled earlier this month, Ghost Recon Breakpoint will require a last-gen PC even to be played at low settings.

The minimum required RAM to run the game will be 8 GB at low and high settings, while will be necessary 16 GB to experience the game in ultra settings.

Processor requirements will go from an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel Core I5-4460 for low settings, going up to AMD Ryzen 7 2700X or Intel Core I7-7700K for Elite ultra settings at 4K.

But the real deal here is the GPU. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will require an AMD Radeon R9 280X or an Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 with 4 GB of dedicated graphic memory just for minimum settings.

In order to play the game at its full graphics potential – with uncapped frame rate and ultra-wide and multi-monitor support – you will have to get your hands on an AMD Radeon VII or Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080, both around the $700 mark.

While the full launch of Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be on October 4th, the game’s closed beta starts next week, on September 5th. Players on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia can get guaranteed access into the beta by pre-ordering now or signing up for UPLAY+.

Players pre-ordering one of the digital versions of the game will also receive several perks. The most expensive one – the Wolves Collector’s Edition – will cost $189.99 and will feature, among other things, the Ultimate Pack containing multiple vehicles and weapons, the Ubicollectibles figurine of game villain’s Cole D. Walker AKA Jon Bernthal, an exclusive Steelbook, and much more.
