Shueisha announced Tuesday that Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter manga will return in October after a four-year hiatus. The manga will have been on hiatus for three years, eleven months, when it starts back up.

Along with this announcement, Viz Media also announced they will simulpub the new chapters in English. This will start on October 23rd and be available through Shonen Jump. However, it is important to note that in order to read, one must purchase a subscription from Viz. The platform has also added the previous chapter of the Hunter x Hunter manga to the magazine’s digital vault.

Shueisha also stated that there will be the manga’s 37th compiled book volume. Volume 37 will contain chapters 381-390 since they have not been published into a complied book volume just yet. The volume will ship on November 4th.

Hunter x Hunter: Togashi and is Health

Yoshihiro Togashi launched the Hunter x Hunter manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 1998. Since the manga then inspired two anime series, two anime films, and several original video titles. The manga’s second anime adaptation premiered in 2011 and has a total of 148 episodes. Currently, the story is described as;
