There’s nothing that the Ninja Turtles like more after a hard day’s work than a savory pizza, and Pizza Powerups similarly provide benefits to the reptilian heroes in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. These pizza pies appear in flat boxes in fixed locations throughout each Episode’s level. There are three primary types of pizza, each providing a different status effect on the player character. However, bear in mind that the Pizza Powerups in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge can only be eaten once by a single character. In other words, those playing TMNT co-op will unfortunately not be able to share the scrumptious taste of pizza with their friends.
Using Pizza Powerups in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge
To use a Pizza Powerup in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, the player must approach the pizza box and have their character touch or walk over it. The box will automatically open, revealing an aromatic pizza inside. If the player continues to walk over the center of the pie, it will vanish, granting the target player its beneficial effects.

As mentioned above, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge features three Pizza Powerups, discernable by their different colors and icons atop the boxes’ lids. The first is the “Pow!” pizza, which is characterized by a red box. Eating this pizza will cause the player’s character in Shredder’s Revenge to spin around wildly, damaging any enemy they come into contact with. This red-boxed Pizza Powerup is an excellent tool to use whenever a solo player or co-op group becomes overwhelmed by a large number of enemy mobs. The second pizza is in a light blue box with a green plus symbol stamped on the top. Eating this pizza will restore the player’s HP to the max. As mentioned above, characters cannot share pizzas, so this Pizza Powerup should be given to the player with the lowest health.
Green is the box color of the third Pizza Powerup in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge and is characterized by a rainbow-colored infinity symbol on its lid. Consuming this pizza will temporarily grant a character unlimited Ninja Power in combat. For 10 seconds, the player can unleash their super attacks on the enemies without worry of energy consumption, letting them take down multiple foes with ease within a short period. Similar to the red pizza, it is best to save this Pizza Powerup for when hostile targets begin to flood the area.
