Tempestra is the Dame of Games in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, serving as the featured boss of the Crystal Palace Mall in “Episode 6: Mall Meltdown.” Originally, Tempestra was nothing more than the evil sorceress NPC in Tempestra’s Revenge, an arcade game Leonardo was incredibly passionate about playing. However, during a bizarre thunderstorm, the arcade machine was struck by lightning, causing Tempestra to become a living being. Shredder later recruited her as a minion and aimed to use this supernatural sorceress to destroy the Ninja Turtles. Therefore, the protagonists must beat Tempestra in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge to complete Episode 6 and progress in their adventure.

Tempestra Boss Fight in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge

To beat Tempestra in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, players must defeat her minions to make her vulnerable. During the fight, she will spawn two ADDs. First, they will appear one at a time, and then both will appear together later on. Taking down these goons will cause Tempestra to come out of her invulnerable state.

Below is a list of boss mechanics that players should bear in mind when fighting Tempestra in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge:

  • Arcing Shockwave: Tempestra will charge up a shock attack with her hands and then unleash an electric arc that travels around and below her. Therefore, players should stay near the top or far sides of the screen to avoid taking damage.
  • Minion 1: Tempestra will spin around and turn bright purple, becoming invulnerable to damage. During this time, she will spawn a turtle-like minion with very low HP and can be disposed of fairly quickly.
  • Minion 2 (Bad Breath): After dealing damage during her vulnerable state, Tempestra will become untargetable again, this time spawning in a lupine minion. This enemy can execute side kicks and Bad Breath, an ability that stuns any character that comes into contact with the noxious cloud.
  • Double Trouble: For the rest of the fight, Tempestra will always spawn both minions into the arena. To deal with him, wait for Minion 2 to use Bad Breath and then lure Minion 1 into the mist for a free stun. Tempestra will repeatedly cast Double Trouble until her HP reaches zero.

It is recommended that TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge players use their super attacks as soon as Tempestra emerges from being invincible. This strategy is bound to ensure her demise is swift.

TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
