Titans Season 3 has Nightwing’s team shaken. With Jason Todd taking down Hawk out of revenge, the group loses another member due to their grief. However, in the midst of this grief, they get a new problematic recruit to their team.
Spoiler Alert for Season 3
Dove Leaves the Titans
Dawn is having a hard time dealing with the loss of Hawk. But, despite being in love with Hank, she didn’t treat him well in his final days. She was dating someone else and tried her own hand at being a solo vigilante. Still, she tried her best to save Hank (even though it didn’t work out in the end).
It’s uncertain if Dawn will return to action, but as of now, it’s highly unlikely. She even tells Dick that he should do what Bruce did and leave the life of being a hero. Dove begs him not to go and kill Jason, but as she leaves, Dick goes chasing after Scarecrow to lure Red Hood.
Blackfire Joins Titans Season 3
Kory’s been harassed by visions. Most recently, audiences have found out that it’s Blackfire trying to make a telepathic connection to her. She and Garfield track the visions down, ending up in a field outside of Gotham. There, they discover an underground bunker where government scientists are holding Blackfire hostage.
Kory tries to speak with her, but Blackfire just wants to fight and be killed. Starfire breaks her sister out, and due to the power dampeners doesn’t have the ability to turn on Kory and Garfield. However, due to Blackfire’s past, it is unable to know for sure if she will turn or not when her powers reactivate. What’s certain though, is that Blackfire will be a handful to the Titans.
The first four episodes of Titans Season 3 are available on HBO Max. Episode 5 will be released on August 26.
