Titanfall released on Xbox One and PC exactly one year ago today, at least for those that have passed midnight on the east coast, with the 360 release coming over a month later. The game was well received, but seemingly forgotten about in the wake of other shooters like Destiny and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare later in the year. Whether it is a complete mistake or an anniversary gift for the game’s release, the Season Pass on Xbox One is completely free right now
By looking up the Season Pass for Xbox One or even the individual map packs on either system, you will see that the cost is $0.00 for every one of them. This could be a complete mistake, but the fact that it happens to fall on the anniversary of the game’s release and has not only the Season Pass discounted, but all three individual map packs as well, bodes well for this being a purposeful discount.
Strangely, the Xbox 360 version has the Season Pass at the regular price of $24.99 still, but the individual map packs for it are free right now. If you are interested in the Season Pass for Xbox One and are not near your console right now, you can “purchase” it right here. Those who have it on Xbox 360 can also find the individual packs right here.
There is no telling if this is a mistake or a celebration of the anniversary, so it would be in your best interest to act sooner rather than later on this one.
