Following Microsoft and Sony’s conferences at Gamescom from yesterday, now it is EA’s turn at the podium. With one of the biggest games of the last year being Titanfall, there was little doubt that we’d hear the publisher EA discuss it at the conference. As a result, Respawn Entertainment took the stage and officially revealed the third and final DLC pack for Titanfall.
IMC Rising will be the final map pack to come to Titanfall, so soon enough we will have everything at our disposal to use in the game. Respawn divulged that this pack will be launching at some point in the fall and will come with three brand new maps to play in the game.
This final DLC pack follows the previous Expedition and Frontier’s Edge packs, so once IMC Rising releases, we will see the total number of DLC maps for the game come to nine. This is of course in addition to the maps already in the game itself.
With a game like Titanfall that is multiplayer only, I was kind of hoping to see a little more support for the game beyond this, but this just adds more credence to the idea that we might be seeing Titanfall 2 sooner rather than later.
