Tiny Troopers is an arcade twin-stick shooter that has been around for a while. Its various entries have made their way to numerous platforms. In fact, the original game started life on iOS and PC in 2012. Since then, most major platforms have received some version of Tiny Troopers. But of course, for many years, gamers were unable to play together across platforms. That will change with the next game in the series. Today, Wired Productions and Epiphany Games revealed a new trailer and demo for Tiny Troopers: Global Ops. They also revealed that the upcoming twin-stick shooter will feature local and cross-platform co-op.

Wired Productions is excited to bring cross-platform co-op to the Tiny Troopers series in Global Ops.

According to today’s announcement, the game includes 50+ missions and multiple weapons and vehicles at players’ disposal.

“Battle the toughest enemies with a lethal arsenal of weapons including machine guns, flamethrowers and rocket launchers, or mount-up in vehicular combat. You can take on the challenge alone, or team up in couch or online co-op with friends on any available format to take on the Tiny Troopers: Global Ops world leaderboards.”

A demo for Tiny Troopers: Global Ops is now available on the Xbox Insider Hub App, Xbox Series X|S and Steam. The announcement did not reveal the release date for Tiny Troopers: Global Ops. However, the announcement did state that upon release, the twin-stick shooter will feature cross-platform co-op on Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Wired Productions is enthusiastic about this.

“At Wired Productions we love Tiny Troopers so much that we took over the IP and embarked on developing a complete reboot of this twin stick shooter. ” said Leo Zullo, Managing Director, Wired Productions. We have long term plans for these bite sized soldiers, and this is just the first mission. We can’t wait to see players come together, playing on different systems yet sharing the experience.”

Today also marked the launch of the Tiny Troopers: Global Ops Discord server. There, interested players can register for the game’s closed beta and chat with developers about the Tiny Troopers: Global Ops.
