If you are looking for more open-world, sandbox, cooperative RPGs, you are in luck. Publisher Headup has announced that their first in-house title Tinkertown will launch in Steam Early Access on December 3, 2020. The company described Tinkertown as a game where you can build, craft, and explore a procedurally generated open-world. There, you will discover dungeons filled with enemies, bosses, and of course, epic loot to strengthen your party of heroes. It also features a drop-in drop-out multiplayer system.

Tinkertown combines 2D pixel art with a 3D isometric perspective and models for huge bosses. The charming pixel graphics are handmade by Misbug (Textorcist, The Escapist 2, The Survivalist). It’s even accompanied by a soundtrack composed by Hiroki Kikuta, most known for his work on Secret of Mana. Take a quick look at the game’s visual appeal through the teaser trailer below.

In Tinkertown, you can choose to play standard classes like rogue, warrior, or mage. Or, you can make your own unique build and experience based on the weapons and armor that you acquire from looting. Your loot can be combined with resources and blueprints to craft different kinds of tools, armor, weapons, or even furniture to fancy up your settlements. Then, you can build workshops and machines to turn your humble camps into an impressive city. The game world offers quite a selection of biomes to spice up your adventure. From mystical forests filled with goblins, vast deserts where you can find giant sandworms, hunting snow foxes in the chilling ice tundras, or dangerous mountains with glowing rivers of lava.
