A new video has been uploaded online looking at the impressive graphics engine that powers Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Guerrilla Games showed the new video of real-time volumetric clouds. Not only does it show realistic cloud formations, but also a timelapse of the day too.

Horizon: Zero Dawn will have a day/night cycle and this new video shows a little bit on how that will look like in the actual game. The lighting effects truly look stunning and the beautiful mountaintop setting makes everything look prettier.

This new game from Guerrilla in an entirely new IP from the same studio that made the Killzone series famous. Unlike Killzone, this is an open-world third person action game starring a tough female warrior.

It’s also interesting that Horizon: Zero Dawn won’t allow you to have guns. Guerrilla Games wanted players to feel more threatened by the robotic dinosaurs so only weapons like bows and arrows, spears and more will be used by the player.

Horizon: Dawn is a PS4 exclusive set to be released in 2016. The game won many E3 2015 awards due to its impressive trailer that showed actual gameplay footage. Many people are impressed by how the game is looking so far.
