Pokemon GO Fest is back! Pokemon masters in the United States, Europe, and Asia get your sneakers ready, head outside and catch ’em all!
Niantic and the team behind the mobile sensation Pokemon GO have announced two of the three locations for this year’s Pokemon GO Fest 2019, along with the dates and ticket information.
First up, the now “classic” Chicago event will be held at Grant Park on June 13th-16th and will cover about 300 acres of catching opportunities:
As you can see above, Europe’s Pokemon GO Fest 2019 event will be in Dortmund, Germany at Westfalenpark. It will take place in early July. The third set of dates and location for Asia Pokemasters is still to be announced.
If you’re lucky enough to make to any of the three locations, Niantic says Pokemon GO trainers can take part in a number of special and exclusive events. On top of that, it’s expected that shiny, legendary, and rare Pokemon will be available.
Pokemon GO Fest in Chicago (and presumably the other locations) will have new Special Research, GO Snapshot Photo areas, and more rewards special that players globally can help work towards.
But the fun, excitement, and mobile catching won’t end there. For the first time ever, a Safari Zone has been announced for South America, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. There will also be another Safari Zone in Sentosa, Singapore with more to be announced around the world in the next few weeks.
Speaking of worldwide, if you’re not able to make it to any of the physical locations, Community Days are back (according to Niantic). Trainers mark your calendars for May 19th, June 8th, July 21st, and August 3rd.
