Goodbye Kansas Game Invest is an investment company with a focus on the video game industry founded in 2016. The purchase will give THQ Nordic a portfolio of minority investments from five studios, including Palindrome Interactive, Fall Damage, Neon Giant, Kavalri, and Frambunker. Additionally, the company will gain the royalty rights to Biomutant.

The press release notes the purchase comes from Koch Media, a subsidiary of THQ Nordic.
THQ Nordic is most known for buying every IP and developer under the sun. They’ve most recently announced SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated. They’re also not afraid to announce two different games getting $400 special editions, because why not?
