Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood publisher Nacon today released a first look gameplay video for developer Cyanide’s upcoming title. Set in the World of Darkness, similar to Vampire: The Masquerade Swansong, the game follows Cahal, putting players into the shoes of a werewolf rather than a pale bloodsucker’s. The video follows Cahal as he infiltrates an oil facility that is slowly destroying the surrounding environment. Within the World of Darkness, Cahal is part of the Garou, who are a nature-loving tribe, which is why he’s taking on an oil company called Endron....

Oxonmoot, the annual Tolkien gathering for fans of the Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, and The Silmarillion author and professor, has opened bookings for the event this year. Today, Activision and developer Vicarious Visions announced a bundle of new skaters making their way into Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, the upcoming remaster of the classic games skateboarding games. The list of skaters includes Nyjah Huston, Leo Baker, Leticia Bufoni, Aori Nishimura, Lizzie Armanto, Shane O’Neil, Riley Hawk, and Tyshawn Jones. Ruin A-02 is Ruin in Tower of Fantasy located in the Southern Ring Ranges of Astra and contains two Ruins Chests for Wanderers to find and loot. To reach this Ruin, adventurers can Transmit to the Spacerift west of World Boss Robarg and south of the Crimson Pillars. From here, travel eastward past the boss lair to find Ruin A-02’s entrance atop the opposite ridge. To enter this dungeon, Wanderers will need to be at Level 15 with properly leveled weaponry....

Developer using beta feedback in getting Black Ops 4 ready for launch. The new policy comes as a way to detect misleading tweets, containing false information, allegations, or statements, and provide a warning for them so that they aren’t circulated. DC Comics have been building up its animated universe with popular comic book adaptations over the past few years. Their most recent release is Batman: Hush, based one of the more critically acclaimed Batman graphic novels in the superhero’s entire canon. The Hush film adaptation, as of today, is now available on digital download and will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on August 6th. It will be available on DC’s streaming service, DC Universe, on August 13th....

Ubisoft has announced a new rewards program for its players dubbed the “Ubisoft Club.” The new initiative sounds like a rebranding of Uplay, which offered similar features to what are discussed in the introductory video to Ubisoft Club. Ubisoft Club will offer extra in-game content, participation in betas, limited edition content, and discounts on Ubisoft titles. Uplay has been a controversial system for the publisher. It forces players to use an extra layer of what is essentially a digital rights management platform to play Ubisoft games....

Only hours after Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier suggested that Ubisoft may have another press conference soon, the video game company announced on Twitter that a second Ubisoft Forward event will take place on September 10.
